The Red Dino
Ferrari Dino 246 GT
Curves everywhere and not a straight line in sight.
The Dino is named after Alfredo "Dino" Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari's son, who helped design its V6 engine and died at just 24. Enzo put his son's name on the car rather than his own — the only Ferrari ever badged that way.
Pininfarina styled it in the late sixties and threw out the rulebook: no straight lines anywhere, headlights sunk into scooped-out pods, and a roofline that dips in the middle like a wave. Plenty of people still call it the prettiest car ever built.
It was also the first road-going Ferrari with the engine in the middle, behind the seats instead of under the bonnet — the layout every supercar has used since.
Ours is a tribute wearing the classic red with white stripes down the middle. It sits about knee-high to an adult, which makes climbing out of it in front of a crowd of your friends quite an entrance.
